61st Annual Sacramento Autorama

      The Sacramento Autorama is "The Kustom Capital of the World" and boasts being home to one of longest running indoor car shows in the world. The Autorama is recognized as the premiere custom car show on the West Coast. The Show featured over 450 of the finest custom cars, hot rods, classics, motorcycles, and specialty vehicles from around the county.  Roving reporter Bart Mitchell captured some excellent shots of the motorcycles...enjoy!

Секретный проект: Metallica отправится в студию на две недели в мае
Герой последних дней гитарист Metallica Кирк Хэммет (Kirk Hammett) удивил общественность своим свежим интервью журналу “Rolling Stone”. По его словам, группа отправится в студию на два месяца позже запланированного и полностью поменяет механизм записи альбома. Напомню, что на запись последнего альбома “Death Magnetic”, вышедшего в 2008 году, у металликовцев ушло более двух лет. Интервью Ларса Ульриха о планах записи альбома можно прочесть тут.
Вот, что сообщил Кирк по этому поводу: “Мы хотим записать его за две недели. Сначала мы планировали заняться им в марте, но потом перенесли на май. Я не хочу раскрывать много подробностей, но это не на 100 процентов запись Metallica. Это проект, скажем так. Не буду углубляться в детали, но скажу, что это скорее наш студийный проект, нежели полноценный альбом Metallica. Посмотрим, удастся ли нам осуществить его всего за две недели”.
